Terms & Conditions

1. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale and purchase of products through www.yarashoemaker.com. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. Yara Shoemaker reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Orders, Cancellations, and Pricing

  • Final Sale: All orders are considered final once confirmed and cannot be cancelled or modified by the customer.

  • Pricing Errors: In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or systems error, Yara Shoemaker reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product at the incorrect price, even if the order has been confirmed and your payment method charged. If your payment has already been processed, we will issue a refund for the incorrect amount. 

  • Product Representation: We make every effort to display the colors and textures of our garments accurately. However, as display settings vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be 100% accurate.Variations between the digital image and the physical product are inherent to the digital medium and do not constitute a defect.

3. Shipping and Customs

  • Taxes & Duties: For international orders outside the European Union, the customer is solely responsible for all import duties, customs fees, and local taxes imposed by the destination country.

  • Risk of Loss: Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery of the goods to the carrier. Yara Shoemaker is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes.

4. Returns and Exchanges Policy

We maintain a strict return policy to ensure the exclusivity and artisanal quality of our collections.

  • Final Sale & No Refunds: All purchases are considered Final Sale. We do not issue monetary refunds or store credits. Our policy is strictly limited to a one-time size exchange for Ready-to-Wear items, ensuring the exclusivity and artisanal value of each Yara Shoemaker piece.

  • Made-to-order or customized pieces are not eligible for return or exchange.

  • To request a one-time size exchange you must contact our Client Concierge at rtw@yarashoemaker.com within 3 days of receiving your order.

  • Shipping Window: Once your request is acknowledged, the item must be shipped back to our atelier within 7 days. Please note that the entire exchange process must be initiated and the item dispatched within no more than 10 days from the original delivery date.


5. Artisanal Nature and Sustainability

Yara Shoemaker products are crafted using artisanal methods and sustainable, cruelty-free materials. Small irregularities in fabric texture, weave, or finish are hallmarks of the handmade process and the natural characteristics of eco-friendly materials; these are considered signs of uniqueness and not defects. As our garments are handmade, slight variations in measurements (within a 1-2 cm margin) may occur and are not considered defects.

6. Limitation of Liability and Force Majeure

  • Force Majeure: Yara Shoemaker shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure to perform its obligations if such delay results from circumstances outside its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, global supply chain interruptions, or courier delays).

  • Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yara Shoemaker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of use or emotional distress) arising out of the purchase or use of our products.

7. Intellectual Property

All designs, patterns, photography, logos, and website content are the exclusive intellectual property of Yara Shoemaker. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution is strictly prohibited and protected by international copyright laws.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sarasota County, Florida.
